
Wendy Christensen, PhD
Adjunct Professor
Wendy Christensen is an adjunct professor in the Ritchie School of Engineering and Computer Science. She teaches statistics courses for DataScience@Denver.
Christensen is interested in using data-grounded insights to improve outcomes in education and health. She has over 10 years of experience collecting, managing, cleaning, analyzing and visualizing data in a variety of contexts, including academic research, consulting and professional services to community organizations. She also has over seven years of award-winning teaching experience in undergraduate and graduate courses in statistics and research methods.
Christensen obtained a PhD in quantitative psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and an MS in applied statistics and research methods from the University of Northern Colorado. In addition to her work at the University of Denver, Christensen is a statistician at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
